Hammock Drip Ring Storm Ring Straps

If you use your hammock in wet weather, water can travel along your hammock ropes and into your hammock. By having a metal storm ring in the supporting line, the water can drip from it and not pass on to the second piece of rope. The storm ring needs to be underneath the tarpaulin so that the second piece of rope cannot be rained or dripped on. For them to work best, they need to be vertical so that water can drip from the bottom of the curve.
