The double zip version of our Hornet hammock in green (Type B). This hammock has a zip on each for entry. You can open up both zips and tie the mosquito net up above you.
A double-layered hammock – you can put a sleep mat between the layers. Both base layers are breathable. You can use the hammock set up on the ground but you would need a groundsheet in damp conditions. This hammock can also be used as a regular hammock by using it upside down.
The aluminium bars ensure room in the hammock is maximised. The elastic to the hammock is attached by two points for better stability and helps prevent ripping it.
This hammock comes with storm rings to prevent water running along the rope into the hammock. There is a line inside from end to end from which to hang items you want to reach easily. There is also a pocket at one end big enough for your phone and a few other essentials that could end up rolling around underneath you. There is also a loop inside the hammock to tie your bag in and stop it rolling about.
The hammock stuffsack is a compression sack so that you can squash it down to take up as little space as possible. The ends of the webbing are stitched into loops to give you more setup options. The hammock will come with extra rope so you can set up where trees are farther apart.
Arm hole at one end so you can reach out and fiddle with stuff. The webbing in the hammock has a set of loops near the centre for when you want to just stick a karabiner through.
In tests we've used 200+ kilos but we do not recommend putting more than 130kg in one.
